LSC Teams Support Breast Cancer Awareness
On July 10th and 11th, the U11 Boys and the U14 Boys participated in the Niagara Pioneer Soccer Tournament. Both teams were there to play soccer, but also to support a cause for breast cancer awareness. The U11 and U14 boys teams both wore special pink uniforms for their games at the tournament. The uniforms were donated by Reid's Drive-in and the players are going to collect donations from friends and family to give to the Susan G. Komen foundation. The boys were inspiring to many other players at the tournament. Both teams plan to finish out the season wearing the pink uniforms, hoping to increase beast cancer awareness through playing soccer. Way to go boys!
